1950’s – German Actress Sonja Ziemann and her Chow

I was so fortunate to be able to acquire this studio portrait of  this beautiful German actress and her Chow ….the dog  is either smiling or growing at the camera person.  I found another photo of Sonja with what looks to be the same dog on Getty Images website  but am unable to share it here.

Sonja Ziemann was born on February 8, 1926 in Eichwalde bei Berlin, Germany as Alice Toni Selma Ziemann. She is an actress, known for The Bridge at Remagen (1969), The Eighth Day of the Week (1958) and Die Privatsekretärin(1953). SOURCE IMBD

I do my best to be as accurate as possible in my research, however many times written history finds a way to "morph" over time. I love your comments and appreciate all feedback, additions and corrections my readers have to offer to help make this a well rounded and accurate archive.
