This treasure is one of the most unique labels I’ve come across featuring a Chow in the graphic design. The charming drawing is on both sides of the can with an additional chow head silhouette on the back

My research of both the can and printing method plus the font styling put this wonderful find somewhere in the 1920s-30s era….at the height of the chow breed popularity

The back identifies the dog food company stating “PACKED FOR DOG FOOD PRODUCTS CO. Woodhaven L.I.

I haven’t seen this label or brand before and would love to hear from anyone who knows about the company. the can is empty and is lined with zinc
