RESTORATION- 1920s dapper man with his chow

It is a rare find to unearth 1920s photos of men with chows as the breed was considered more or a woman’s dog of the era.

But I hit the jackpot on these 2 small snapshots of this Roaring 20’s spiffy gent wearing a “Gatsby” style boaters hat while posing for the Kodak Brownie camera most likely with his trusty Chow.

The tiny original photos in my private collection were in great condition with very good detail so it didn’t take much to bring these scenes back to life. The stories these images could tell!!

I do my best to be as accurate as possible in my research, however many times written history finds a way to "morph" over time. I love your comments and appreciate all feedback, additions and corrections my readers have to offer to help make this a well rounded and accurate archive.

I am so happy to see your Chow Tales, Sandra. This is a wonderful way to save these precious memories. I hope someday, you can find a way to publish these in a book.
