This page of the archives I just started and am dedicating to snapshots in my collection that fall into this niche. As much as I love doing restoration and converting to black and white to see the details better, there are times when the photo is either too perfect “AS IS” to mess with a good thing, or was too blurry, grainy etc to do a proper job of restoring The above photo is a prime example of leaving well enough alone. When converted to black and white and other edits added, the imperfections became obnoxious rather than being part of the charm of the sepia photo. Every photo I have here has its own personality and character and temperament when it comes to editing and archiving.. I will be adding many more photos to this page as I get them scanned and will update after every 5 or so new additions to my email list so you don’t miss any
