This wonderful little 2×3″ photo is from the early 1920s and was in pretty bad condition. I took the restoration to this point and decided any more fussing would be overdoing it. What a unique image of this fella and his chow. I love the vest and tie he is wearing and the surprise was when I enlarged it and cleaned up the edges….what I thought was a pipe in his mouth turned out to be a mystery object. It looks to me to be either a bandage but he appears to be holding it in the corner of his mouth. Any guesses????
Regardless, I am always so happy to find photos of men with chows. They don’t come along very often and this is a real treasure!!!!
