Circa early 1930s. I could not believe my eyes when I saw this huge bronze plaque show up at auction. I immediately recognized the chow as the very famous Ch Yang Fu Tang who was a great ambassador for our breed as well with his charming temperament
I have in my records somewhere documentation if this bronze plaque being made for a special award and have seen one other copy of it in photos. Now I need to track that info down for the archives. I’m just so excited I could pop! Eventually I would love to donate this treasure as a perpetual trophy for the national.
