The above photo is antique and in my private collection. I did a bit of restoration work on this 8×10 press photo to remove some scratches and “noise”. The woman, Hazel Glab, was a flamboyant flapper, whose husband, John, died under mysterious circumstances June 18, 1928, at 12744 Ventura Blvd., in Studio City. Murder charges against her were dropped for lack of evidence the first time around at trial. Below I found an image in the Los Angeles Public Library that could very well be Hazel with 3 Chow dogs. CLICK HERE for a fascinating read about Hazel Glab’s life and trials.

I do my best to be as accurate as possible in my research, however many times written history finds a way to "morph" over time. I love your comments and appreciate all feedback, additions and corrections my readers have to offer to help make this a well rounded and accurate archive.
