1915 Is this the Queen Mum with a Chow puppy?

Over the years my antique chow collection has grown by leaps and bounds, but not until recently as I am sharing these photos publicly and researching each one has some wonderful secrets been revealed.  With ChowTales being in the public eye both online as an archive and as a Facebook page, the images are open to feedback and this one is priceless.  I am very curious if this is possibly the Queen Mother, as the family was fond of chows and owned a number of them over the early introduction of the breed in England.  I may be wrong but there is a very striking resemblance.

The photo above shows the Queen Mother in 1923 in the same sort of hat which demonstrates a fairly accurate comparison to the first photo in my collection.  In the photo below you will see another example of British Royalty in Queen Alexandra of England with her beloved chow Plumpie. SHORT BIO ABOUT THE QUEEN MOTHER

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother was the mother of Queen Elizabeth II, the present British sovereign, and the widow of King George VI.

She was born the Honourable Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon on 4 August 1900 (fourth daughter of Lord Glamis, later 14th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne) and spent her early childhood at St Paul’s Waldenbury in Hertfordshire, north of the capital. This was the country home of her parents.

The Bowes-Lyon family is descended from the Royal House of Scotland. One of The Queen Mother’s 14th-century ancestors, Sir John Lyon, became Thane of Glamis, home of Macbeth 300 years before, and Glamis Castle is the family seat.  SOURCE
