1904 First Edition Hondenrassen – 8 Chow pages- H.A. Graaf Van Bylandt

HONDENRASSEN (The Breeds Of Dog)   by H. A. Graaf Van Bylandt, These 8 chow pages come from a first edition 1904 of this extremely rare  hardback dog book, with each of 2 volumes containing about 800 pages!  The chow pages are from VOLUME 2.   Each book boasts hundreds of stunning illustrations and photographs of the best of the dog world .  The size of the pages is approx. 13″ x 10″.  Also note the lovely chow headstudy included on the cover!

Each breed has a chapter in 4 languages, Dutch, English, German and French.  I was incredibly lucky to have an opportunity to purchase these pages from a seller overseas.  It was the most I have ever paid for a handful of chow pages but worth every penny.  The set of 2 books in good condition are going for nearly 1000.00 currently.  This is a rare opportunity to enjoy these amazing photos and text of our breed in it’s infancy in England

I do my best to be as accurate as possible in my research, however many times written history finds a way to "morph" over time. I love your comments and appreciate all feedback, additions and corrections my readers have to offer to help make this a well rounded and accurate archive.
