RESTORATION – 1929 Packard convertible coupe with a man and his chow

I  feel a “Charlestons” coming on!!!

CIRCA 1929 – Chows in Automobiles are one of my all time favorite photo subjects!! This one is no exception. “Which Speakeasy are we going to next dad?”
This little faded photo in my private collection turned out great with a little photoshop TLC. Its the ‘cats pajamas’

The digital restoration was pretty straightforward, converting to black and white, adjusting contrast and sharpening where needed.  I never sharpen the entire image when working with those old photos.  Somehow that takes away the charm of the soft focus.  All I am going  for is to bring out the finer details like the chow eyes, the spokes of the car, etc.   One more to add to my CHOWS AND AUTOMOBILES curated collection

I do my best to be as accurate as possible in my research, however many times written history finds a way to "morph" over time. I love your comments and appreciate all feedback, additions and corrections my readers have to offer to help make this a well rounded and accurate archive.
