Circa 1920s-Lady and chow puppy by rare White automobile

Here is another amazing photo of a chow featured with an automobile but this is apparently a very rare auto indeed!  The White was an American Automobile of the High Wheel type with solid tires produced in 1909 only according to this website SOURCE

The subject matter is incredible with both the woman and boy in period costume, as well as a chow puppy and the rare car!!!   It just doesn’t get any better than this!  The photo below is the BEFORE. Above is AFTER going through some photo restoration in Photoshop.  The original photo was taken in South Dakota….see below

Given the original source of this photo was South Dakota, it leads me to wonder if the puppy came from the same breeder where President Coolidges chow “Blackberry” came from , a there were very few chow breeders in the middle of the country.  This puppy has a similar look to the puppy photo below from Lester Heinsheimer’s kennel of Sioux Falls South Dakota. My imagination can get the best of me at times. LOL
