CURATED COLLECTION – AS IS – Vintage Chow Snapshots

This page of the archives I just started and am dedicating to snapshots in my collection that fall into this niche.   As much as I love doing restoration and converting to black and white to see the details better, there are times when the photo is either too perfect “AS IS” to mess with a good thing, or was too blurry, grainy etc to do a proper job of restoring  The above photo is a prime example of leaving well enough alone. When converted to black and white and other edits added, the imperfections became obnoxious rather than being part of the charm of the sepia photo.   Every photo I have  here has its own personality and character and temperament when it comes to editing and  archiving.. I will be adding many more photos to this page as I get them scanned and will update after every 5 or so new additions to my email list so you don’t miss any

Above and below photos are from the same family album as the first image

I do my best to be as accurate as possible in my research, however many times written history finds a way to "morph" over time. I love your comments and appreciate all feedback, additions and corrections my readers have to offer to help make this a well rounded and accurate archive.
