PHOTO PLATES FROM ‘THE CHOW CHOW’
by Lady Dunbar of Mochrum Third Edition 1924
This book I consider one of my “bibles” for early chow research and still one of the best written. The images in my 3 copies were starting to show a bit of fading so I decided to scan each at a very high resolution and bring them back to their full glory. A must have book for any collector
BELOW IS A 1914 REVIEW OF THE CHOW CHOW…..80 CENTS A COPY FOR THE FIRST EDITION

I love this book! I have a Third Edition, which my brother gave me as a birthday gift because I’ve love Chow Chows since I saw a photo of one of our great aunts with a black Chow named Inky Foo. Coincidentally, our last name is Dunbar.

Hello. I’m the person who owns the painting which is on sale at £5450 on my website http://www.mansionhouseantiques.co.uk.
I would love this portrait to be sold to a family member, whether direct or indirect descendants.I always thought someone would buy the painting who bred Chow dogs or owned a few of them.Regards Rodney Tel 07765 856171
