Pre 1960’s Chows featured in dog food and grooming advertisements

Chows were a popular breed to be chosen as “spokes models” for ads aimed at the breeder, exhibitor, kennel manager and were most often found in all breed publications tailored to the dog show crowd.  Dog World and Dog News were among the most respected pre 1960’s publications.  I will be adding many more ads to this page as I get them scanned in.  Click on each ad if you wish to read them larger.
