COLLECTION – Smooth Chow Photos from various sources (pre 1960)
Below I am gathering together photos and other depictions of some of the early smooths in America , Europe and China, to give an overall picture of how this beautiful coat variety had changed very little before 1950. When the smooth chow was removed from the American Standard in the 1940’s the majority of the limited genepool was still in Europe. Once accepted in America again in 1985, the coat variety is now on an upswing.
